Said Differently today announced that Linda Boff, who previously served as Chief Marketing Officer of GE, will become Said Differently’s next CEO as the company grows substantially following the merger with Brainvire, a global digital transformation company. Boff will lead the company alongside Said Differently cofounders Rachel Barek and Brian Skahan and Brainvire’s founder, Chintan Shah. 

Prior to joining Said Differently, Linda was one of the most senior executives at GE, serving as Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President, Learning and Culture and President, GE Foundation. She oversaw global marketing, brand, content, digital, and sponsorships, while also managing GE’s learning curriculum, philanthropic arm, and co-leading the GE Women’s Network. 

Linda’s new role as CEO – combined with the merger with Brainvire – positions Said Differently as the first global independent team that provides an equal focus on consulting, strategy, creative, and technology, offering companies a scaled, next-generation alternative to traditional holding companies.

Passionate about all things digital and the future of media and communications, Linda is recognized as one of today’s most influential marketing executives. She was on the 2024 Forbes list of the Most Entrepreneurial CMOs. In 2023, Adweek named Linda winner of their first B2B Innovation Lifetime Achievement Award. She was named 2017 AdWeek Grand Brand Genius, a 2016 Matrix Award winner, and CDO Club’s 2016 US Chief Digital Officer of the Year, among other accolades. Linda is a past Chair of The Ad Council and a former member of the ANA Executive Committee and Marketing 50. 

Linda will leverage her enormous client-side experience to help us write the industry’s next chapter, marrying Said Differently’s creative approach with Brainvire’s ability to deliver comprehensive technology solutions at scale. Her role will allow Said Differently to continue designing for the future of work and delivering exceptional value to clients.
